Beautiful Beets
Despite the drought, beets are doing well at the farm with a little irrigation. Whether you enjoy them as a vegetable side dish, roasted and sliced in a salad, or pickled, beets add a burst of color and flavor to your meal.

Tomatoes Weather the Drought
We continue to be extremely dry at the farm, with very little rain in August and so far in September. Somehow the tomatoes are still producing and ripening fast, with just minimal irrigation. About the farm
We are a family farm near Coshocton, Ohio, that grows USDA Certified Organic strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, heirloom tomatoes, garlic, and a variety of other vegetables and greens. We also offer eggs from our flock of laying hens on pasture and a limited amount of grass-fed beef, plus local honey from Mullet Apiaries. Our farm family includes Ron and Mary Meyer, our son Chris and daughter-in-law Erin, and their two young sons, Carsten and Everett.
