Beautiful Beets
Despite the drought, beets are doing well at the farm with a little irrigation. Whether you enjoy them as a vegetable side dish, roasted and sliced in a salad, or pickled, beets add a burst of color and flavor to your meal.

We continue to be extremely dry at the farm, with very little rain in August and so far in September. Somehow the tomatoes are still producing and ripening fast, with just minimal irrigation.
