Fall has arrived at the farm with chilly nights and fewer daylight hours. It’s been dry, so we’re irrigating the beets, lettuce, kale, tomatoes, and peppers. Farm dog Maggie is spending nights out by the gardens to keep hungry deer at bay.
On the farm stand this week: tomatoes, sweet and poblano peppers, raspberries, beets, kale, onions, romaine lettuce, garlic, fresh herbs, our own eggs, jam, and grass-fed beef. Also local honey. Trouble ordering? Text Mary at 740-552-9877.
Farm Open House October 22, 4 to 6 p.m. Please let us know if you’re coming!
