Strawberries and Scapes

Posted on May 28th, 2024 by Ron Meyer

Hot weather has brought on more produce! The strawberries ripened two weeks earlier than ever before, but unfortunately the earlier rain and cold weather kept the plants from doing well. We have listed some strawberries on the farm stand, but may end up picking more than are listed. We’ll be in touch about adding them to your order if that happens.

New this week are garlic scapes, the flower stalks of the garlic plants that are great for pesto, dip. salad, soup and eggs. There are more mini romaine heads on the stand, too, as well as a few bags of salad mix. Plus arugula, radishes, kale, fresh herbs, eggs, jam, honey, and farm beef. If you have trouble ordering, please email us or text Mary at 740-552-9877.
