Hello wonderful share members. We have experienced hot dry weather! This has given us some hope for success with various crops.
Aside from weeding, harvesting and planting, we have also been thinking a lot about different ways to farm so as to mitigate the problems of too much rain, and other issues.
Something new on the farm this year is the introduction of beehives to our land. Our good friend, Sarah, is keeping four hives here, and is teaching us so much! It's been fascinating and fun, not to mention valuable for the pollination work that the bees do. Here we are suited up after inspecting hives.
