This week on the farm has been a recovery week after last weekend's tomato-frying fiasco. The good news is that all of our field tomatoes are now beautifully trellised and we're starting to see the first pop of color on some of the heirlooms. Peppers are also coloring up wonderfully and will be hitting the stands and CSA boxes in the coming weeks. Okra, shishitos, and cherry tomatoes are all ramping up and ready for harvest! As the seasons change, there can sometimes be a lull between spring crops and summer crops, but we're grateful our Swiss chard, kale, scallions, and cabbage have continued producing as long as they have, and though we say goodbye this week to some of those crops for the rest of the summer, fall and cooler weather are around the corner and they won't be gone long!
