Fall is in the air! Which means the summer heat loving crops will soon be on their way out (okra, eggplant, peppers, and tomatoes), but we still have sweet corn from Fishel Organics coming this week and zephyr squash from Creeksong Farm. We're eating the last of our butternut and acorn squash, but New Life Farm will be coming in with more butternut squash to last until we're in legitimate fall.
Speaking of fall, it's time to get registered for fall shares. You can do that through your Harvie Portal (click "my farms" then "place order" and click on "Fall Share"). The crops change (more green, less bright colors), but the customization all remains the same. We will be switching systems next season as Harvie is "sunsetting" it's services at the very end of the year. We've already found a new service that does all the same things, just a slight bit differently, and are working on getting that set up and our new harvest share manager (Kelsey, whom some of you will recognize, is coming back to take over as Harvest Share Manager!)
