It's hard for me to believe that August has almost ended as I don't pay attention to the calendar much and in past seasons have been able to know what month it is from what we are harvesting! But this season, with the later than planned plantings of Summer Crops because of the wet Spring, we are just now harvesting the crops that typically we would have been harvesting weeks ago! I'm happy to report that Cherry Tomatoes are now starting to reach full production, Full Size tomatoes are starting to ripen as are the Eggplant and Sweet Peppers. Both the Full Size tomatoes and Eggplant are still available in just limited quantities right now but there are tons of them on the plants!
This week all the hot peppers are really starting to come on! Watch our Facebook page on Tuesday to see all the different varieties that are coming in. The hot peppers are ranging in hotness from Jalapenos to Habeneros with many in between. If you are receiving hot peppers this week and prefer them to be more on the mild side or the hot side, shoot me an email and we will do our best to accommodate. Otherwise you'll be recieving a medley of Hot Peppers that are very tasty!
