Farm Happenings for July 17, 2024

Posted on July 14th, 2024 by Trent Loewen

We definitely got some summer last week! The plants are loving it, and we’re looking forward to some more heat this week. With the ½” or more of rain that we got on Sunday, things should really grow!

We really appreciate your patience as we wait for the gardens to get into full production. If you’ve got a half box these last 2 weeks, I’ve added a credit to your account for the missing amount. You can use it to add items to your box above and beyond what Harvie automatically puts in, without any extra charge. You will have to manually add them to your box though.

New for this week is carrots! It looks like the peas, broccoli, beets, and cabbage will all be ready in the next 2 weeks.

Your box will be built automatically with only produce in it but everything else is available to swap in. Besides the produce, there is pasture-raised eggs, fresh baking (baked by my Mom), refrigerator pickles, and our homemade ranch dressing.

As always, if you have any trouble with swapping or anything else, you’re welcome to call/text or email. Trent - 306-883-8832, Lois - 306-883-9289. Also the folks at Harvie are happy to help, reach them at support@harvie.farm.

Have a great week!
