We are happy to let you know about the newest addition to the farm.
Kaatje DeMaster was born this past Monday. We thank God for a successful delivery. Reuben was able to run the farm remotely for two days and Simeon was very helpful in running the crews while we were gone. The girls and Grandma kept the family running and food on the table. Tessa is resting and recovering well.
The name Kaatje is a dutch name and spelling of Catherine. We even have a long time farm member with this name. It is pronounced KAHT-yah.
Someday soon Kaatje will be eating kale from the field, sneaking fruit from Farmer Reuben, begging for sourdough bread on bake day and following her brothers and sisters to the field to "help."
