DRY BEANS - JACOB'S CATTLE BEANS
Just arrived from our friends at Terra Fauna Farm in Northampton. Described as described as fruity, rich, and nutty. They are dense and meaty in texture, holding their shape well under long cooking times. This heirloom variety of kidney bean originated with the natives in Maine. They grew them over the summer as a fresh bean and then waited until the beans were fully mature and dried. I can't wait to try them in a soup. Each bag is 1 lb.
