It's Time to Start Planning Thanksgiving- Take Note of Delivery Day shift for the week of Thanksgiving (not this week, but next!)

Posted on October 3rd, 2024 by Suzanne Williams

It’s time to start planning your Thanksgiving feast! With only two weeks to go, now is the perfect time to stock up on holiday essentials. We’ve got everything to make your celebration special, from fresh ingredients to ready-made options.

Delivery Reminder:
The week of Thanksgiving, our delivery schedule will shift:
- Wednesday deliveries move to Tuesday
- Thursday deliveries move to Wednesday
- Saturday deliveries will stay the same
This is just for Thanksgiving week—mark your calendar!

Thanksgiving Favorites for Your Box:

  • Sweet potatoes are a holiday side dish staple—roast, mash, or bake into a pie.
  • Raw cheese adds creamy flavor to casseroles, mashed potatoes, or cheese boards.
  • Ham slices and roasts make a show-stopping centerpiece or pair perfectly with turkey.
  • Save time with ready-made meals like Chef Dylan’s split pea and ham soup or other sides to round out your holiday table.

Let us help you make this Thanksgiving delicious and stress-free. Start adding these must-haves to your box today and be sure to check next week for even more holiday options!

And don't forget, returning your ice packs and packaging each week helps us out!

We'll keep farming for you!

Important Tips for Managing Your Farm Share:

Check Your Preferences: Your farm share box will be filled with items based on your preferences. It's essential to set your preferences correctly to ensure you receive items you prefer. You can always change items out, but sometimes certain fruits or veggies are limited so it is best to have your box filled with your preferences on the first pass. You can adjust your preferences at any time during the season.

Customize Your Box: After receiving this email, you can customize your box by swapping or adding items from our selection of high-quality organic foods and products. Visit your Harvie account to make these changes. Your card will be charged when you finalize your order.

When to Customize:
- The customization window is open from Fridays until 7:00 pm on Sundays.

Add More Value to Your Cart: Think of your market box as your weekly grocery budget. Check your cart to see if you have any remaining value. If you do, consider adding another item to maximize the value of your share.

What we need from you: RETURN BOXES...

If you are getting a box delivered: Please remember to put your box out before your next delivery so the driver can take it back to the farm to be reused. Before returning your box (and other packing materials) for pick up - please remove your box label. Why? It saves Farmer Reuben and the crew much time :)

ITEMS TO RETURN: waxed boxes, green cartons, freezer bricks, and reflective box liners during your next delivery or pickup.
