We have a lot of green veggies to cut this week, in spite of the very cold weather. We also have carrots and storage crops, and cheeses from Prairie Fruits Farm and Creamery.
PLEASE BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR AN EMAIL ON FRIDAY ABOUT THE PICKUP TIME ON SATURDAY. IT'S GOING TO BE BELOW ZERO AND WE MIGHT MOVE THE PICKUP TIME AN HOUR LATER.
What does this mean? It means we are now assuming we can get the veggies to Lincoln Square safely by 9am, but we might change our minds later in the week if the weather does something different.
This means the current pickup time is 9-11am on Saturday, but that might change. Please look for an email on Friday finalizing this time. But the default is 9am-11am.
In other news, we want to express huge congratulations to Prairie Fruits Farm for winning a national Good Food award for two of their delicious cheeses: Fleur de la Prairie and Pelota Roja. In other news, 2021 CSA signups are open at 2021 CSA signup link. We have lots of spots open and we need your help! Please consider using our "Refer a Friend" program. When you log in to your account, there is a tab at the top of the page called "Refer a Friend". If you click on that, it will generate a coupon code link. When you get a friend to sign up for a share, copy and send the coupon code to them, and then, when they use the coupon code, you will each get $25 to spend on veggies. This program is great for us at Blue Moon, because we devote less time to advertising, and more time to farming. It's great for you, because extra veggies.

Our regular farmer’s market starts on Saturday, May 1st, and our first Wednesday CSA delivery will be May 26th.
For the Farmstand subscribers, you may notice a change in the structure of the ordering page which will be very similar to a typical online store structure. If you have any trouble navigating the ordering process, shoot us an email. We think it’s going to be a lot easier now.
