The longest days are upon us, and in these extended hours of daylight the plants and the calves are growing like wild. In order to keep up with them we have to run like a vine. We follow the sun, tending to the plants, the animals, the soil, and the harvest, moving in circles around the farm in order to keep it all going. Your upcoming veggie share is a reflection of all that tender loving care, and we hope you can taste the fresh goodness! This week's CSA shares will showcase early summer in the form of abundant greens, tender young root crops, and the first of the garlic scapes and snap peas!
Whether you are a new or returning CSA member, please be sure to set your vegetable preferences. This will help the Harvie algorithm 'build' your box based on your preferences and what's available. Once you receive this email, you will have until 7 am on Tuesday morning to customize your share (make swaps or add extras). Here's a helpful link to check out if you have questions about navigating your Harvie account. Feel free to contact us if you have further questions. And don't forget to bring a bag to your drop site! We will pack your share along with any add-ons that you've ordered into a tote that will have your name on the label. It's up to you to pack your veggies into the bag of your choice. And if you forget, we will have extra bags available at the site.
