Summer is finally here! And that means it's time to kick start the CSA season and satisfy our appetites for fresh summer veggies. This coming week we will be harvesting a diverse selection of greens, roots, herbs and even the very first of our sugar snap peas! If this is your first time as a CSA member, you may have some questions about how to customize your share. Here's a helpful link to check out if you have questions about navigating your Harvie account.
Whether you are a new or returning CSA member, we encourage you to set your vegetable preferences if you haven't already done so. This will help the Harvie algorithm 'build' your box based on your preferences and what's available. Once you receive this email, you will have until 7 am on Tuesday mornings to customize your share (make swaps or add extras). You can swap items in or out of your share without additional cost so long as the swap values are similar. Any items added that exceed the value of your share will be charged as extras, so please take a look at the help guide for customizing your share, and feel free to contact us if you have further questions.
Please be aware that our selection will be the most limited in the first few weeks of the CSA season while some of the crops are getting established. Quantities may be limited when a high-demand crop first becomes available, so if you don't get to try something new the first week it's on the list, be reassured that there will be more coming down the pipe soon. No matter what, there will always be something on the harvest list that is new and exciting, so take the opportunity to eat outside the box. Thank you for trusting us with your appetites!
