Field notes: August 10-14
This week the main task was potato harvest. Potato harvest began on Tuesday with the purple variation and ended on Wednesday with the Yukon gold variation. Their was a low yield the first day but many more potatoes the second. We weeded and hoed in field Z. We did a big beet harvest in field x. This week we did the usual cucumber squash and zucchini harvest as well. Overall it’s been a hot week but the potato harvest seemed to be a success regardless!
