As we approach thanksgiving, the weather has turned and it's cold! Each morning this week the grass was a frosty white and our mornings have been filled with jobs to keep the crew warm, mainly brush clearing and bulk harvests. We have a tremendous amount of carrots in the cooler and more on the way. Those carrots will be sold to CSA and saved for Farm Works in the spring.
This past Tuesday we received our first snow! Winter feels like it's getting closer and we finished tucking our greenhouses in this week by putting row cover down and tightening up the sides. We also say goodbye to our apprentices this week. We are so grateful for all of their hard work and they will be greatly missed.
