Welcome to the extended CSA season! We are excited to continue bringing you fresh, organic, locally grown vegetables.
Our harvests are winding down and we are turning some attention to our "fall projects." "Fall project" is a big refrain used all spring and summer on the farm to capture all of the things we are realizing would be very helpful or necessary. Fall is the time to knock those out. Our big item this year is putting new plastic on the greenhouses. Two of our houses suffered catastrophic tearing in the plastic during wind events this summer. And at least one of the other two houses is way past due for fresh skin. Pictured: farmer Emma tightening up some nuts and bolts in preparation for putting new plastic up on "Jasmine."
