Welcome to the start of a new season! This is our 11th year and what a spring to welcome in our 2nd decade. We definitely feel the weight of the moment and our place in the food supply. It has been both exhilarating and exhausting to try to keep up.
However, our crew is probably the best we have ever had, which is keeping our confidence up that we'll be able to roll with whatever is to come this year.
The spring has been very cool, so crops are on the later end of the normal spectrum. Overall, the field look great and the food is starting to roll in. The forecast is for loads of sun and warmth this week, so the landscape is sure to change dramatically over the next few days.
The logistics of getting food to all of you has been the greatest challenge this spring. I've been adding home delivery routes as we can manage them, although it is proving trickier and more costly than I initially thought. We are contacting members in each location directly as we create various delivery route.
I will leave it at that for now, as we'll be in touch with many more specifics about pickup via other emails.
