So thankful to finally get a break from the rain and enjoying the continuing cooler weather.
This week our lettuce mix is back and asian greens are ready to harvest! Along with some fingerling sweet potatoes from our neighboring farmer Mr. Steele many yummy meals will be possible.
Check out the member tips and recipes that we have begun to compile on our web page joyhavenfarm.weebly.com we will be adding to it periodically. Also if you have a favorite recipe you would like to share with the group please email it to me. I did want to add a tip that is not on storage chart...cut greens from root vegetables like radishes, turnips, beets and carrots and store separately to prevent root from drying out.
