View from the Tractor
Greetings from our sun-soaked and slightly less dusty farm, thanks to a recent rain shower that boosted humidity levels and settled the dust. As the mercury climbs to triple digits, our dedicated staff has begun early shifts on these scorching days, aiming to harvest before the sun turns the fields into an oven.
We've entered what I like to call the "heavy season" on the farm. Throughout the entire season, we've labored diligently to plant, seed, and nurture nature's bounty, all in anticipation of this moment when we must start bearing the weight of our harvest out of the fields. And now, that time has arrived. The harvest of hot and sweet peppers, along with an abundance of eggplants, is underway. This week, we're braving our field of tomatoes for the first time. It's an immense task, and it's what all our efforts have been building towards.
This year, our farm team has seen a rapid ebb and flow of staff, reminiscent of a revolving farm gate. Admittedly, with the rapid training and transition, a few things may have slipped through the cracks in our harvesting and packing processes. If you notice anything amiss, please don't hesitate to contact me directly. We're committed to setting things right. Your unwavering support as a member of our CSA means the world, and it's our utmost priority to ensure your needs are met.

Fruit Share
At press time I am still waiting to hear what organic fruit is available for us. So this week it will be a surprise but I can imagine we will have peaches or nectarines and maybe even some more plums.
We will have peaches available in the add on section for those that do not have a fruit share.
Thank you so much for being a member of the farm. We can't do it with out you.
