About 16,000 strawberry plants arrived Thursday and we had them all tucked in to their new homes by dark. They are off to a good start and looked good and healthy when they arrived. They'll sit there and grow and think sweet, red, juicy thoughts all winter.
And the bottom right picture in the collage is of our winter carrots. I can't stop looking at them! It's hard to get a carrot crop that looks that good!
3 more major planting projects for the year and we will be done planting for a few months. We will set our sites on planting garlic and more cover crops next week along with one more greenhouse for winter crops.
