Hi folks,
Last week we really upped our harvest game! We starting our lettuce wholesale harvests- getting the lettuce out to even more people. We also had our first harvest for the Ballard Farmers Market this season. The new crew mates are learning quickly and bringing a lot of fresh, inspiring energy to the team. I wish you could see us at our morning meetings- between the social distancing and the enormous crew size, it feels like we take up the size of a baseball field!
The fields are starting to come alive with vibrant colorful vegetables. New this week are romaine lettuce (find these either in your share or available to trade), swiss chard, curly kale, and even a small amount of beets. Enjoy!
