Hello farmshare members!
Here we are, in summer! The end of June is creeping upon us and slowly we are seeing some of the summer crops making their appearances. The snap peas are in full flower and are starting to show the smallest little pods. Maybe just a week or two until we're munching on those delightful treats! Carrots are sizing up nicely and will soon be filling your shares and bellies. This week, we've got lots of delicious tender spinach and Hakurei salad turnips. I'm sure that these turnips could turn anyone into a turnip fan. (And the turnip greens are great too!). This is the last week for garlic scapes.
Check out the nuts, seeds and dried beans available as "extras" sourced from regional farms.
