Greetings farmshare members,
We hope you've been enjoying your first farm share of the season and making lots of delicious meals and salads! Its already time to plan for week two. Our offerings this coming week will be very similar to last week's: lots of lettuces, kales, salad greens. Some beautiful cauliflower too! All the good stuff. There are also some items we are offering that you can add to your box including our farm's very own delicious sauerkraut (Getting Cultured) in a variety of styles.
Here on the farm we have shifted gears to non-stop harvesting. Still plants are getting put in the ground (currently, cucumbers!), seeds are being planted, crops are being weeded, and field beds are being prepared and planted into cover crop. All the while, a group of folks are harvesting, washing, and packing the abundance of produce ready in the field.
