Delivery will be on Thursday this week and the order cutoff is at 11:59 PM Tuesday night.
I am so glad that many of you were protected from the storms that swept through Birmingham last week. If you were affected and I didn't check on you please let me know. We would love to help any way we can. We had a close call with a confirmed tornado that headed toward our community, but lots of people were praying in the name of Jesus and it didn't cause any damage as it passed overhead. I could see the energy in the storm cell with non-stop lightning.
Spring-time is in the air and we are getting things planted and trying to not get too ahead of the curve with the cold weather expected this week. We don't want your tomato plants to freeze! I will be doing some last minute mowing this afternoon in some of our pastures before they start their spring growth flush.
This past week we hosted several students for a farm training where we discussed using demonstration gardens to teach horticulture in communities. We are praying for many of these gardens to be planted around the country so that more people can grow some of their own food. You can learn more about the project at www.wellwateredgardenproject.org.
