It is a blessing to have the tools that allow us to grow in the winter, but washing and packing in our open air shed can be a little challenging when you are dealing with 37 degrees and a blustery day. When you are washing spinach barehanded on a day like that it can really take the joy out of it, so we have been taking the slower season here to build a wash room that will allow us to be our of the weather, but still in the garden. We are building it our of used walk-in-cooler panels. Can't wait to try it out this week once we finish!
On Saturday, February 8th from 4:00-7:30 we are having our Winter Farmship Member Dinner! It is one of our ways of saying thanks for your support. By coming you can see where your food comes from, fellowship with other farmship members, and enjoy a farm fresh meal!
The dinner will be held at our farm near Goodwater, Alabama, about an hour from Birmingham.
Please RSVP by text or phone to Dorothy at 334-750-9468 so we can know how many people to plan for.
We hope to see you then!
Your Farmers,
Noah and Dorothy Sanders
