Spring is here! The crocuses are in vivid bloom at the farm, and the earliest daffodils are opening. We have begun planting seeds in our “greenhouse” (the south windows of our packing shed), and soon will plant more. Seedlings like onions, kale, and Brussels sprouts will be the first to go outside. And soon we’ll be planting onion sets and lettuce and radish seeds directly in the gardens.
This week our farm stand includes plenty of eggs (it’s not too soon to save some up for Easter, so they’re easier to peel), as well as raspberry jam, local honey, and our own grass-fed beef. We can’t wait to be able to offer fresh garden produce!
Our next delivery will be on April 7.
