It’s definitely autumn now, with crisp, frosty mornings and beautifully colored trees. Ron picked a lot of peppers on Friday because of potential frost, but the plants are still looking okay. We’ll see if that continues!
On the farm stand this week, in addition to peppers, are red beets, kale, sweet potatoes, raspberries, garlic, a few heads of broccoli, and a couple half-pints of cherry tomatoes. We also have fresh herbs and a few flowers. Plus eggs, strawberry and raspberry jam, local honey, and grass-fed beef. Crops in the gardens are winding down, but we’ll have eggs, sweet potatoes, kale, garlic, jam, and honey for weeks to come.
