Well, it’s back to cooler weather again! The up and down weather makes it difficult to harden off our tomato and peppers seedlings, which are growing bigger and bigger.
We decided to offer some of the tomato seedlings on the farm stand this week, even though they will need be hardened off—gradually introduced to the outdoors—before planting. We will include hardening-off directions with any seedlings that are ordered. We will have more tomato and pepper seedlings available for the next delivery, May 18.
Other items on the farm stand this week include a limited amount of Yukon Gold potatoes (this is the last time, for real!), fresh herbs, lots of eggs, garlic, strawberry and raspberry jam, local honey, and our own grass-fed beef.
