What's happening on the farm? Harvesting, harvesting, harvesting. In addition to the regular weekly harvesting, we are starting to take things in for winter. Today we took in onions for curing. Over the next 5 or 6 weeks we will squirrel away more onion, carrot, beet, potato, cabbage, celeriac, and herbs for winter sales. As for our regular weekly harvesting, we are just starting to harvest some beautiful later crops of cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower that were not badly affected by the earlier rainy weather. Thank you all! Jenny and James.
P.S. Regarding the summer savory that we are offering you this week: you can easily dry it if you want it for future use! It's great in soup or with poultry and stuffing.
