That was a crazy storm that hit Central Oregon on Saturday! We're happy and feel lucky to say the hail pretty much missed us, and although the winds were strong, everything on the farm is intact. Weather like that can be really scary for crops, and a lot of area farms suffered demolition by giant hail and infrastructure damage due to wind. We're grateful at times like this for our little sheltered nook that seems to often protect us from the worst of it! We hope that you all weathered the storm well also.
This week we're attending the first Wednesday downtown market of the season, swing by and check it out if you have time, it runs every Wednesday from 2-6pm. The weather's gotten a lot better recently, and the crops are taking off, just look at these tomatoes! Summer crops are right around the corner for us!
