This week I wanted to send out a few tips to improve upon everyone's Harvie experience, which I hope is going well! We've had a few questions and confusions about customizing and rescheduling shares, and I thought there are probably more that have these same questions.
Did you know that Harvie has an archive of help articles that you can access from your account that answer a ton of questions you might have. Here are a couple of key articles:
I'm sure many of you have become familiar with the buttons below item images on the share customization page. Note that you can add, remove or swap items. If you hover over them, a description of the button appears. If you remove items without adding something else a box will pop up below that says you can add more items as your share is not as full as it could be!
You can also add extras if you want something additional. We discovered last week that if you do this, and then go to swap an item in your share, Harvie will list an extra charge. Don't be alarmed here, this is the TOTAL extra charge, including the extra you added, and does not necessarily mean you are being charged for the swap. Check out the article for more info.
This is particularly important for those who purchased flex shares. Your 'off weeks' are automatically at the end of the season. You can reschedule these if you will be out of town. You can also reschedule to get two shares one week if you have a full share subscription and will be away. If you hold a share for the week, you can either reschedule it later on or chose to forfeit that share. Don't click hold for the current week unless you actually want it held, as tech support is the only one who can resolve this! Let us know if this happens immediately. More detailed info is in the article above.
Thank you all for joining us on this journey to offer a more personalized CSA experience! We've got lots of great veggies for you this week, summer veggies are coming in and we hope you're as excited as we are.
Your Farmers,
Ashley and Caleb
P.S. How many chickens can you find in this luscious pasture we moved them to this morning? Did you know their coop is built on a trailer so we can move them every week? This is how we consistently get those bright yellow yolks!
