It's August y'all! Pepper season has begun, tomatoes are in their peak of production, and we're battling the heat to get our fall cool season crops germinated and in the ground. Would you believe we're planting kale and collards this week? One by one, our crew takes time off for some vacation and hopefully come back rested and renewed or at least re-energized. August is officially half way through our long production season and so a little rest and renewal time is definitely in order. August also arrives with a vibrant burst of color for our diets--what a great season to eat the rainbow! I hope everyone is enjoying their share in the harvest!
