Sorry for the late email! I happen to be in Ann Arbor moving family to Chicago during a black-out caused by the storm a few days ago.
Speaking of the storm, when it moved through Urbana, it severely damaged our lettuce. That’s why there’s no salad this week. All the greens under our row cover were spared, so there’s arugula and braising mix. Braising mix comprises mustards (red mustard, mizuna and tatsoi) along with kale leaves. That storm was especially disappointing because I had a full bed of beautiful lettuce ready for this week. Oh well, we’ll get it back next week. That’s the benefit of planting it every week.
Enjoy the beautiful weather and beautiful produce!
