Good afternoon everyone!
We hope you all enjoyed your shares last week. It's hard to believe we are half way through this season, it feels like it just started. There's lots of great veggies available this week. I'm going to roll the dice and put enough zucchini inventory so everyone has a shot at some, but it is based on what we are projected to harvest through Monday. Also, broccoli is starting to head quite nicely, so there will be 10 heads available for shares this week. If you want broccoli, but didn't get it in your share, send an email and let me know, so I can put you on the list for the next round of ready heads. If it is not all ready to harvest at once for week 7 shares, then I will make it available as an add-on to give everyone a fair shot.
The carrots we planted in early February are ready. We have decided to take of the tops, and have them in bags for y'all. This week, there will be purple and orange mixed carrots, but for the item in your share it will say "deep purple carrot". It looks like the carrots will be a weekly veggie for the rest of the season, and so will the potatoes.
Fiesta folks please remember that you only have Tuesday to pick up your share, so if you can't make it, please make alternate arrangements as soon as possible. I will also have to add a $2 delivery fee for the Fiesta pick ups.
