Wow. We made it! Our efforts throughout the summer paid off, and I think we had a successful growing season this fall-one that will extend into the new year. We made some mistakes, but ones we learned from and overcame, which will make us better growers in 2022. Our Fall farm shares are coming to an end on December 11th. We are taking a week off from farm shares from 12/12-12/19, resuming with the Fall extension/winter season that will run 8 weeks from December 21-Febuary 13th. The break will allow us some much needed infrastructure focus, plus give members a chance to clean out their fridges from the last 12 weeks. Members who wish to auto-renew can do so starting on Monday, December 13th. The deadline to renew is set for Thursday, December 16th.
If you are a farm share member, and do not want to skip a week, then this farm stand is for you. The farm stand features all the same pick ups locations and home delivery options as the usual farm shares.
If you are a farm stand member, and have not ordered from us before, this is a great week to try our vegetables! We have some amazing selections like broccolini, cabbage, beets, carrots, and all of our specialty greens mixes. I also added Stowe Creek Farm eggs and some of our jam. Our next farm share season is open for enrollment. We hope that you consider joining our farm community today!
You can also find us this week on Saturday at the Ruston Farmers Market, and on Thursday, December 16th at the Flying Tiger Brewery Farmers Markets from 6-8 PM.
