New Flavors Farm Stand

Last week, we set a record for the most farm stand orders we have ever had! Let's do it again this week! 

Exciting New Additions This Week:

  • Louisiana Satsumas: By popular demand, these juicy fruits are now part of our selection until January!
  • Oak Grove Sweet Potatoes: Another addition inspired by your feedback, these sweet potatoes are a culinary delight grown in Oak Grove, LA.
  • Red Beets: Earthy and sweet, ideal for roasting or adding to salads.
  • Baby Carrots: Sweet and tender, perfect for snacking, roasting, or adding to soups and stews.

 

This Week's Star Selections:

  • Mesclun Mix and Arugula: Let's get tossed! These crisp, peppery notes are perfect for a lively salad, perhaps drizzled with a balsamic reduction and sprinkled with toasted nuts.
  • Komatsuna (Japanese Spinach): This leafy wonder, with its sweet undertones, makes for an excellent addition to your stir-fries.
  • Colorful Daikon Radishes: Add a pop of color and crunch to your meals with these radishes. Think of a vibrant slaw or a quick pickle to accompany your main dishes.
  • Red Russian Kale and Collard Greens: These are your go-to for a heartwarming, nutritious stew or a side sautéed with a hint of garlic and a dash of your favorite vinegar.
