Field Notes
A very cool week on the farm, we spent our week with more harvesting and planting in our northernmost fields. A far trek, but a beautiful change in scenery, especially with the livestock almost always in pasture around us. Tomato harvest is now in full swing, and sweet corn is coming to a close. Transience is a regular visitor to the farm, just as crops grow and fade away with the seasons, we’re coming to a close with our summer student farmers in the coming weeks so the fun moments and conversations spent with them in the field are becoming all the more special.
