Hello All,
Welcome to week 3! More typical spring fare on the menu this week.
This has been a busy week on the farm. The rest of the summer students started this week. Everything is a chaotic enough as everyone learns the lay of the land (literally and figuratively), but this was also an important planting week. We planted the first waves of sweet corn (see pic with farm dogs), cantaloupe, squash, zucchini, and cucumbers. After lunch today we will plant all of the sweet potatoes for the year. Everyone got off to a great start this week and the crew shows a lot of promise for a productive summer.
