Happy Monday all,
It was a chilly morning to harvest but we got it done. Our apprentice team, and our crew leader Kelsey, have really stepped up the past two weeks with student workers back to class. We are settling into the new rhythm.
The CSA menu is still all summer though. All of the pepper and tomato types are in full swing.
Pictured: the Emily's and Kelsey planting strawberries last week. Since berries are a biennial, we plant them late summer to produce the following spring. This is the biggest crop of berries we have ever planted and I am very pleased with how soil and transplants have performed so far. I'm optimistic this will be a great crop in May!
Have a great week!
