Happy Friday!
The glorious sun! I think that may be the longest I have ever gone without seeing the sunshine. It was incredible yesterday as the clouds broke. The team was harvesting spinach for today's CSA delivery and I could see the smiles that only a long lost sun could inspire. It was a good day to be a farmer yesterday and it looks like more to come.
Unfortunately, that prolonged rainy period really did a number on our tomatoes. Normally I would expect to have them until the first frost but we harvested very little marketable fruit this week. We may get some after a few days of sunshine, but I can't promise them yet.
However, our fall crops are doing great (mostly - broccoli wasn't a big fan of the weather either). Please note a number of new additions to the offerings this week.
