Hello! Pictured above is what we are offering for green onions this week. I have placed next to them my grandfather's antique measuring stick, so you get an idea just how large and lush these are. It is our first foray into Japanese style-- so called "negi" green onions-- but assuredly not our last. Unfortunately we will have to trim or fold over the leaves to fit them in the bags for delivery.
Not too much else to report-- we just planted the first of the fall broccoli and broccolini, and the eggplant and peppers are very reluctant to bloom and set fruit-- normally we are harvesting both of them by now, but we're still two weeks out. Incredibly annoying for me. Tomatoes are late too, but starting to trickle in.
