Pictured above is the view from our farm, the lovely Tuscarora mountain in all its fall glory on a misty, drizzly morning. This is probably my favorite time of year, but it does mean, alas, that the growing season is about over and with it Summer's bounty. This week is the last delivery. Looking back, I feel that it has been a pretty good season-- certainly better than last year, when it wouldn't stop raining, or 2015, when the deer ate all my crops. Naturally, some things did better than others and, as always,I learned a lot-- some things the easy way, some things the hard way-- but I am already anticipating and planning for next year.
I'd like to express a big thank you to everyone reading this. I love my work, and ultimately is it your support that makes it possible for me to do it. I'll be in contact sometime in January with information about the 2020 season when signups are enabled. I don't plan on any major expansions and, as we had a waiting list this year, I would advise not delaying o'erlong, when the opportunity arises.
Have a great winter!
John, Rebecca, Dana, Evelyn, Simon and all the Jade crew!
