It is beginning to feel a bit autumn like!
The days are cooler this week, we are receiving a wee bit of rain, and the trees are increasingly tinged with their autumn colours!
The harvest is also shifting. Here comes the broccoli, with cauliflower not far behind, and cabbage. There will be more beets and beans! Plus the lettuce is returning. And, the carrots are looking good. Not long now.
We are tidying beds and starting to seed cover crops -- to protect the soil in autumn and early spring.
And we may manage to help Oskar (our 10 year old) harvest his potatoes this week. He planted 1700 row feet! And they will be available for purchase soon.
