Whew...what a weekend. We enjoyed spending the weekend at Summerfolk in Owen Sound. Music, friends and rest. What a lovely change of pace and opportunity to pause and take a deep breath. Hope you all have also had something like that this summer!
Things are slowing in the gardening in terms of planting. The planting to do list is delightfully short this week -- just another bed each of lettuce, bok choi, radish/arugula and spinach. We're also doing some weeding and tidying in the fall broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower beds. The fall carrots are looking great!
While those crops all grow, we are right into tomatoes now! Now it the time for all your favourite tomato dishes -- salads, sandwiches, sauces, salsas...you name it! We've got lots of gorgeous herbs to go with the tomatoes.
