The weeks are flying by, now. Early summer on the farm seems to feel like a whirlwind of perpetually trying to get our feet under ourselves until, all of a sudden, we look around and see everyone - new crew and old - moving and grooving in their farm rhythms. Everyone knows which crates to use for what, and where the mainline for irrigation is, and who the heck is Christopher Walkin? - The second of our two walk-in coolers in the packshed, of course.
Make no mistake, we're still in that heart of the season scramble! But with everyone back in their peak-season flow, it's like a team sport every day. We're having fun, workin hard, and feeling so grateful for you all.
Our summer crops are truly prolific right now, and we've got fresh garlic and Walla Wallas coming in hot! Just in time for garlicky green beans and chilled summer squash soups. Eat up, folks!
