Greetings folks,
We're wrapping up July with all our favorite [PNW] summer goodies- green beans, garlic, zukes, squash, and cucumbers. Goodbye radishes, arugula, turnips and spinach! See you in a couple months!
We are all looking forward to August, a month of transition on the farm. By mid August, none of the greenhouses will house any baby plants but instead curing garlic and onion in from the field. The weeding work fades out and we are on a regular daily harvest rhythm. The slow gradual shift into shorter day lengths reminds us that we are past the peak, so now we just cruise along munching on carrots and salads and everything zucchini.
