Hello Farmshare Members,
Happy Summer! It's finally officially here! We have been enjoying the long days and and late evening light along with some warmer temperatures. The crops have been enjoying these things too! We have been noticing a lot of plant growth around the farm. This time of year it feels like you can see the plants getting bigger by the day, as they take in the extra daylight and increasing warmth.
We're excited to have some crisp and juicy romaine lettuce this week! The romaine takes a little longer to head up then the other lettuce varieties, and we're please to have it back on the harvest list! Time for some big salads and maybe even break out a home made Cesar dressing recipe.
