We’ve reached the longest day of the year with an amazing 16 hours of daylight shining down on us. The plants respond in amazing ways to this light, everything is growing quickly now, and fruits are setting readily on our tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants. With a few hot days we should see some start to ripen.
Our crew has been working as a team for almost four months and we’re in a steady rhythm now, everyone is honing their skills and enjoying the work. One of the favorite jobs on the farm this time of year is pruning and trellising our 700 tomato plants every week.
