It's hard to believe this is your final CSA delivery for the season. What a wild season it has been! Together we've created community, connection, and a sense of wellbeing despite the odds. We've communicated through masks and through email, but I've never felt closer to a group of people. You've given us so much wonderful feedback about how good food helps during these hard times. Cooking helps. You prepare food for yourself, for others, and in so doing achieve a momentary, fleeting reprieve. It’s not nothing, to do that in the middle of a pandemic. Cook with what you have, in what little or what great amounts, and you’re providing nourishment that goes well beyond the calories served.
Keep your spirits up, keep cooking throughout the winter, take care of yourselves and your loved ones, and we'll re-connect with an abundance of fresh food again in the spring. If you'd like to stock up on some bulk storage crops to keep you going, check the store this week for 25 lb boxes of butternut, carrots, and beets.
We value each and every one of you so, so much. Thank you for a wonderful season!
